(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) Jan. 5, 2012 — Tracey Fine of Four Hills Country Club noticed our take on which country club Lobo Head Football Coach Bob Davie should join and weighed in with this:
“We read with interest your article posted Dec, 2 regarding golf club membership opportunities for the new UNM football coach Bob Davie.
“We think you presented a very nice, and accurate, perspective on all of the private clubs listed. I would like to point out, however, that the Four Hills Country Club of today is a very different experience than you might remember.
“In addition to the fine golf experience you so graciously noted in your piece, we also have gained the benefit of highly experienced new management within the past 18 months, and a veteran head golf professional with Albuquerque roots. Our Club has changed in significant ways.
“Too, you will be interested to know that Four Hills Country Club currently provides Honorary Memberships for several UNM athletic directors and coaches. We would be happy to afford Coach Davie the same opportunity….”
