Black Mesa, Piñon Hills, Twin Warriors and Sandia Golf Club round out the magazine's top five courses in New Mexico.
Nos. 6 through 10 are: the University of New Mexico, Sonoma Ranch, Taos Country Club, Pueblo de Cochiti and the Inn of the Mountain Gods.

The University of New Mexico women's golf team moved up two spots to finish in 14th place at the Ping/ASU Invitational. UCLA won the 54-hole event. The Lobos, ranked 51st in the nation, beat No. 34 Washington and No. 43-ranked Denver.
