(MESQUITE, NEV.) Dec. 4, 2011 — Former University of New Mexico Lobo Jodi Ewart qualified for the 2012 LPGA Tour by finishing tied for fourth at the LPGA Tour's Q School final stage in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Players finishing 1st through 40th, including ties, receive 2012 LPGA membership. The top 20 finishers earned full status for 2012.
Ewart, a three-time All-American and four-time Mountain West Conference player of the year from 2007-10, ended the 90-hole tournament at 3-under 357 (70-73-74-70-70). Click here for LPGA Q School results.

Here's my 2010 video interview with Ewart, who was then heading to the Duramed Futures Tour, posted to YouTube when I was editor of Sun Country Golf magazine.
