Bullseye Golf Center in Albuquerque was selected as one of Mizuno’s top 100 golf fitters in the U.S.for 2020.
The golf shop at 8212 Menaul Blvd. NE, in Hoffmantown Center, is the only golf shop in New Mexico so recognized. The shop is run by brothers Gene and Rob Scott. It opened in 1976 and is Albuquerque’s oldest off-course golf shop. It carries all major golf equipment brands
Our goal is to give you the best selection of equipment and clothing in New Mexico,” the Scotts say on their website.
Bullseye Golf Center uses Trackman in their hitting bay to analyze a player’s ball flight, measuring distance, shot trajectory and height, curve and spin rates to identify the best club for the player. The shop also uses Science in Motion’s PuttLab, which tracks in minute detail a player’s stroke to identify the best putter for that player’s tendencies.
Bullseye Golf Center has previously been named to Golf Digest Top 100 Club Fitters list.
“We recognize how important it is for golfers to be correctly fitted with the optimum equipment to suit their game,” said Jeremy Galbreth, director of golf for Mizuno USA, in announcing the Top 100 list.
“Fitting is a key element of the Mizuno experience,” Galbreth said. “We know the products we offer are of the very highest quality, but for individuals to get maximum benefit, it’s important that they are paired up with the right models and specifications. These expert fitters are central to that and it’s important for us to acknowledge their contribution.”
